Local Government, Housing and Planning Minister Kevin Stewart SNP, visited the site of the new health & care centre in Greenock last week.  The site showcases how a collaboration of multiple parties can work together to meet client expectations and ensure the construction of a fully compliant building.

Thomas & Adamson were appointed in January 2019 by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to undertake the role of Board Site Monitor for the construction of the new health & care facilities and mental health wards, in Greenock, Stobhill and Clydebank.  The role of Board site Monitor was created in response to the findings of the ‘Report of independent Inquiry into the construction of Edinburgh schools’ (the Cole report) in 2017.  The report identified the importance of the independent scrutiny within the construction process.
