The Wilton Lodge Park regeneration project in Hawick opened its new bandstand on Sunday 26 April. The Provost Stuart Marshall was joined by councillor’s, project team members, friends of Wilton Lodge Park and local residents for the unveiling.

The bandstand is part of a £3.61m regeneration project which has been funded jointly by Scottish Borders Council and Heritage Lottery Fund.

T&A have been involved with the regeneration project from the early stages, providing project management services. We’re delighted to see the bandstand open to the public, and there is a full events programme in place to keep this at the heart of the community.

The project continues with the new museum gallery due to open in May, the new-look walled garden set to be unveiled in late June and the new café and bridge expected to in 2016.
